Pre-launch. The founding cohort of contractors and buyers is forming now.

Contact

Tell us what is coming out of the building — or what you are looking for.

Salvagio is pre-launch, so there is no sign-up form behind a marketing page. There is a real conversation with the two people building this, and it goes down one of two routes depending on which side of the lot you are on.

Send us the details

Everything except the message is there so we can route you properly. If you are clearing a site this week, say so in the first line and we will call rather than write.

Please tell us your name so we know who we are replying to.

Please add the business you are writing on behalf of.

We reply from a person, not a no-reply address.

Please enter an email address we can reply to, such as name@company.com.

Faster than email if a site is clearing this week.

Please choose a role so we send this to the right route.

Selling: what is coming out. Buying: what you would take an alert for. For example — oak parquet, stock brick, solid-core doors, brass ironmongery, slate.

Please list at least one material, even roughly.

Town or postcode district is enough. Collection economics depend on it.

The date the site has to be empty. It changes how fast we move.

Quantities, condition, access, floor level, whether it is still fixed in place — anything that would change a collection quote. Rough figures are fine.

Please add a line or two about the lot or the material you want.

We use what you send here to reply to you and, if you asked for it, to tell you when we open. We do not sell it, share it with anyone outside Salvagio, or add you to a sequence. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Direct routes

Selling — contractors

If you have material to clear, this is the fast route. Tell us the building, roughly what is in it, and the date it has to be gone. We will come back with what we think it is worth and whether we can get a carrier to you inside the window.

sellers@salvagioyard.com

Founding cohort: zero commission on your first three completed lots.

Buying — architects, builders, makers

Register the categories you would take an alert for and how far you would travel for a lot. We will tell you what is already flowing through the corridor and when your categories are likely to appear.

buyers@salvagioyard.com

Free, now and after launch. Buyers are never charged a platform fee.

Carriers & plant

Hauliers, hiab operators and man-and-van outfits working the same corridor: we would rather book you than build a fleet. Send coverage, vehicle types and lifting capability.

logistics@salvagioyard.com

Anything else

Press, partnerships, reclamation yards, or a question this site did not answer.

hello@salvagioyard.com

After you send it

What actually happens next.

No auto-responder that promises a call from an account executive. There are two of us; here is the honest sequence.

  1. Within 1 working day

A person reads it and replies

Same-day if it lands before mid-afternoon on a weekday. If you flagged a clearance date inside a week, we call instead of writing.

  2. Days 1–2

A twenty-minute call, if it is useful

Contractors: what your programme actually looks like and where a listing would get in the way. Buyers: which categories and what radius makes sense from where you are.

  3. Days 2–5

An indicative view on the lot

For sellers, a rough opening price, a reserve and a step ladder, plus an honest answer on whether we can get a carrier there in your window. Sometimes that answer is no.

  4. On launch

    Your account is opened first

Founding-cohort accounts on both sides are set up before the marketplace is public, with categories and radius already configured from what you told us.

How an enquiry is routed A single enquiry form splits into three routes. Enquiries from contractors go to the sellers route for a lot valuation and a carrier check. Enquiries from architects, builders, makers and sustainability leads go to the buyers route to configure categories and radius. Everything else goes to a general route. All three lead to a founding-cohort account opened at launch. One enquiry form routed by the role you choose SELLERS Contractors Lot valuation Step ladder draft Carrier check BUYERS Practices, makers Categories Radius GENERAL Carriers, press, yards, other Read the same day Answered by a person Founding-cohort account opened before the marketplace is public
The role you choose in the form decides the route. Nothing is scored, ranked or scraped — it decides which of us reads it first.

Useful detail

What makes an enquiry easy to answer.

None of this is required. It is simply what turns a two-email exchange into one.

If you are clearing a site

The building type and roughly when it was built. Quantities, even to the nearest hundred. Whether the material is still fixed in place or already down. Floor level, lift or stair access, and whether a vehicle can get within reach. The date it has to be gone.

If you are buying

The categories you would genuinely take an alert on, the radius you would actually drive, whether you can receive a full load or need it broken down, and whether you need provenance and a diversion record for a specification pack.

If you need diversion evidence

What your reporting actually asks for, and in what format. We would rather build the record around a real requirement than guess at one — and we will tell you plainly where our record stops short of what your scheme wants.

Response time
One working day, and usually the same day. Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00. We do read weekend messages if a site is clearing, we just may not reply until Monday.
Where we are opening
A single metro area and its surrounding radius first, because collection only works at density. Tell us where you are and we will say honestly whether you are inside it yet.
General enquiries
hello@salvagioyard.com
Sellers, buyers and logistics have their own addresses above; all four reach the same two people.

This form does not submit anywhere yet — Salvagio is pre-launch and the endpoint is not live. If you need us today, email hello@salvagioyard.com directly.

Buildings come down

Materials do not have to.

Four hundred square metres of parquet is worth a ten-minute phone call. So is knowing that it exists two suburbs away.
